Brief Description:
Ideal for fans of Redwall, this collection contains dozens of recipes--from Abbot's Special Abbey Trifle to Summer Strawberry Fizz--that turn young hands into seasoned chefs.

Review Quotes:
"The dishes are wonderfully evocative of the charm that underlies all of Redwall...[but] the real appeal of this book lies in its gorgeously rendered and finely detailed illustrations...this gastronomical visit to the Abbey will be enjoyed by Redwall devotees." --School Library Journal

Biographical Note:
Brian Jacques was born in Liverpool in 1939. He spent time as a railway fireman, a longshoreman, a long-distance truck driver, a bus driver, a postmaster, and a stand-up entertainer, all before turning his attention to writing full time. He wrote his first novel, Redwall, for the children at a school for the blind in Liverpool. Since 1986, his descriptive style of writing has captivated readers from ages eight to eighty. His books have won international awards and acclaim and have been made into a TV series.

Christopher Denise is an award-winning children's book illustrator. He is the artist behind The Great Redwall Feast and A Redwall Winter's Tale, as well as more than twenty other beautiful books for young readers. His work has received the Caldecott honor, appeared on the New York Times Bestsellers List, and been featured at the Society of Illustrators' annual art show. Christopher lives in Rhode Island with his family.
