Review Quotes:
"The multicultural group of pet owners and wide variety of dogs fill the park with color and movement in the charming, digitally created artwork, which is a joy to peruse." -- "Booklist"

Biographical Note:
David Soman grew up in a family of artists and has always loved drawing and painting. When his mom stopped him from practicing his art on the kitchen walls and gave him some paper instead, his career path was set. Over the years, he has illustrated many books, and with his wife, Jacky Davis, cowrote and illustrated the New York Times bestselling book series Ladybug Girl, as well the Agent Lion and Elvis & Romeo series. David's solo books include Three Bears in a Boat, The Monster Next Door, How to Two, The Impossible Mountain, and Papa's Home. When not working on a new book, David teaches at The School of Visual Arts in NYC. He lives in Rosendale, New York, with his family and a big, furry dog named Pico.

Jacky Davis, along with her husband, David Soman, is the creator of the bestselling Ladybug Girl series as well as the Elvis and Romeo and Agent Lion series. Jacky has written several other picture books, including Sunny Side Up, Olive & Pekoe, and Good Dream Dragon. When she's not writing children's books, she works part-time as a bookseller at Postmark Books in the Hudson Valley, and sometimes at the local elementary school library. She is also a graphic designer and packager who has created book jackets, trading cards, catalogs, and more. She lives in Rosendale, New York, with her family and a big, furry dog named Pico.

Review Quotes:
"It's a big-personality friendship story that shows how it's possible to recover from a ruff start."-- "Publishers Weekly"

Review Quotes:
"Introducing likable canine characters and setting the stage for future odd-couple hijinks. A worthy selection for pet lovers and sandwich fans alike."-- "KIRKUS Reviews"

Publisher Marketing:
From the bestselling creators of the Ladybug Girl series comes a picture book about the misadventures of two very different dogs who become unlikely friends.

Elvis, the bulldog, just wants a little peace and quiet.

Romeo, the doodle, really wants to make new friends, and play at the dog park.

When they first meet, it seems Elvis and Romeo have nothing in common. But little by little, these polar-opposite pooches may just become the closest of canines.
