Val Pierce first learned knitting from her father at the age of five. Since then she's made a lifetime of knitting--handling everything from evening dresses to teddy bears, as well as a few designs of her own. Her designs have appeared in national knitting and crochet magazines, and as a teacher, she shares her passion for needlecrafts of all sorts--including knitting and crochet--to both adults and children.
